MoveNara

Privacy, in plain language

Beta version · last updated August 25, 2026

The short version: we collect only what your move plan needs, we never sell your contact information, and providers only hear from you when you contact them.

What we collect

Your email address (to sign you in; we don't use passwords), and the move details you choose to enter: dates, ZIP codes, household size, which services you want help with, statuses, and any notes you write. We deliberately do not accept government IDs, payment credentials, account passwords, or door and alarm codes.

What we use it for

To generate and update your Move Map, and to email you sign-in links and move reminders. Reminders can be turned off any time in Settings. We use privacy-respecting product analytics (event counts tied to an account ID, never your notes, addresses, or email) to understand what's working.

Who touches your data

The services that run MoveNara: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Resend (email delivery), and, when enabled, Sentry (error monitoring), PostHog (analytics), and Google (provider search: to show you nearby options we send Google the service type and the move ZIP code, never your name, email, or notes). Each receives only what its job requires. No moving company, marketer, or lead broker receives anything from us.

Your controls

Download everything we hold about you (Settings → Download my data) or delete your account and every trace of your move (Settings → Delete account). Deletion is immediate and permanent. Questions or requests: support@movenara.com.

MoveNara is young; this policy will grow more formal as the product does, and it will always tell the truth about what the product actually does.
