Ask for the earliest slot on or before your move-in date. Record the confirmation number and the install window here. Requested is not installed. Track it honestly.
Step 3 · A day or two before move-in
Confirm the install appointment
Two days before the appointment, confirm the tech is still coming and someone can be there. If the window slipped, escalate now, not on move day.
Step 4 · Right before or on move-in day
Have a first-night fallback
If install isn't confirmed by move-in: charge a hotspot or check your phone plan's tethering. Working internet on night one is a first-night basic, not a luxury.
